Khloe Kardashian's denim line made $1 million on its first day for sale - Wonderwall

A cool million to start! Over a month after it's launch, Khloe Kardashian's Good American jeans line is certainly holding its own in the market.

According to a statement, Khloe's duds hauled in $1 million on the very first day of availability.

"After just over one month in the market, the pair [Kardashian and business partner Emma Grede] have proven Good American is the biggest denim launch in apparel history," the statement reads.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star said she's just getting started, but she's thrilled with the initial launch of the line, which is made in wide ranging sizes, from 00 to 24.

"I'm so happy with the success we have had in the last month, but we have so far to go. This is only the beginning," she said. "What's really encouraging is the customer response. When people try the jeans they fall in love. The reviews speak for themselves and that's something I am really proud of. We've created a product that works on a girl who's size 00 and looks equally great in a size 24."

The jeans -- which are sold at Nordstrom and on goodamerican.com  -- have certainly been a hot ticket, and there's already a wait list for them. Aside from Khloe and her famous sisters, models Bella Hadid and Chrissy Teigen have been seen wearing the denim. Last month, Khloe took to Instagram to thank her customers.

"You guys are the best!! @goodamerican Good Waist has sold out TWICE since we launched in October," she said. "I am so beyond proud and excited that you are loving this denim revolution and loving your curves!! It will be back in stock soon so join the wait list at goodamerican.com #goodsquad."

The statement said that Good American will offer new products every other week beginning in January 2017 to satisfy demands.

The secret to her jeans, she says, is quality and understanding that flaw in the jean market.

"I know with me and all my girlfriends, all we ever do was talk about that gap in the back of your jeans and no matter what size you were, if you were a 2 or a 32, you always have that gap because women's hips are always smaller than their hips and booty, and I wanted to make a denim line that was made to fit the female shape and not make us fit the denim line. That didn't make sense to me and I wanted to avoid me always having to tailor my own jeans."
