If it’s October, it’s time for the fall edition of the United Way of Southern West Virginia’s Denim for a Difference.
The event, which allows the employees of registered companies to wear jeans to work by paying a small fee, will be held Oct.16-20. The companies, agencies, schools and others register with the United Way by contacting Kacy Burgess at 304-253-2111. The deadline to register is Friday, October 13.
A payment of $5 permits a person to wear denim one day during the week; $10 earns three days of denim wear; and for $15, relax in jeans all week long.
