Online auction, tickets available for Rotary Diamonds & Denim - Petoskey News-Review

PETOSKEY — More than 155 auction items valued in excess of $51,000 can be rounded up as part of the Rotary Club of Petoskey’s online Diamonds & Denim auction going on now through Sept. 15.

Items include gift certificates to area restaurants, salon treatments, artwork, jewelry, sailing adventures, outdoor excursions, tickets to the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra’s “Messiah” concert, movie passes, home tours, vacation and pontoon boat rentals, pet boarding, golf packages, Pilates sessions, gardening supplies, lodging opportunities and more.

The online auction is part of the Rotary Club of Petoskey Diamonds & Denim event, which also includes a live auction, dinner and dancing 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Grand Unity Event Center (formerly Knights of Columbus hall) in Petoskey. Tickets are $75 per person for unreserved seating or $800 for a reserved table for eight. The event includes an open bar, appetizers, gourmet buffet dinner catered by Sweet Water Catering, a silent and live auctions and dancing to the Craig Cottrill Band. The event has sold out the last two years.

A large portion of the proceeds from the dinner, dance and auctions will benefit the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor.
