The Coolest Denim Jeans We're Obsessed With, Thanks to Off-White and Levi's - Allure Magazine

Off-White just released two pairs of jeans that we feel like we've been searching for our entire lives.

Starting today, the precollection, a small capsule within the brand's bigger partnership with Levi's Made and Crafted line, is available online at ssense.com. The four-piece collection consists of a tee, a carpenter belt, and two pairs of jeans that can easily be worn right now along with our favorite fall essentials. The full Levi's Made and Crafted and Off-White collection will be available in mid-October, but this mini selection ensures you'll be ahead of the trend before everyone else.

Off-White designer Virgil Abloh has taken his label to cult-level status with his insanely covetable streetwear pieces, including patchwork jeans and logo-emblazoned button-downs, so it comes as little surprise that he's working with Levi's, the purveyor of all things denim. The jeans—which come in two silhouettes, Arrow Straight Join and Twig High Slim Join—are loose-fitting and include details such as a white cord belt, color-blocked fabrics, and contrasting edges. Abloh, who comes to fashion with a background as a DJ and an architect, worked closely with Jonathan Cheung, Levi's head of design, and the brand's Eureka Innovation Lab in San Francisco to create one-of-a-kind denim pieces that marry couture-like craftsmanship with street-style edge (think reconstructed vintage jeans that could easily double as sweatpants).

Everything in the collection retails from $70 to $350, meaning you can a purchase a piece by the cult brand without sacrificing the cost of a month's rent. When French brand Vetements released its reworked vintage jeans last year, the splurge-worthy pieces quickly sold out. We wouldn't be surprised if this collection has a similar effect because of its wearability (and friendlier price point).

Jeans and sneakers continue their reign as fashion's favorite street-style bait. For fall, we recommend pairing these jeans with a loose tee layered underneath a bustier or a corset, or try a tight cropped tee with a classic bomber jacket. They could even be styled with a simple white button-down shirt to add an unexpected dose of coolness to your workwear. Jeans that can reinvent an entire outfit? We'll take it.
