FNL Denim video takes off on Facebook - Wichita Eagle (blog)

Given that Frank Hopkins and Levi Fitzmier first conceived FNL Denim six years ago, the jeans brand isn’t exactly an overnight success.

However, since moving to a storefront in Eaton Place three months ago, the pair has been getting some attention.

This week, FNL released its first video through Facebook, and within 48 hours, there were almost 19,000 views.

“It’s crazy, right?” Hopkins says.

The video, which their friends Alec Campbell and Max Krubsack made, offers a behind-the-scenes look at how the jeans are made.

Hopkins can only guess what’s made the video so popular so fast.

He says he has “a big reach of friends.” He says so does his grandmother and Fitzmier’s grandmother and all of their other friends and family.

Still, 19,000?

Hopkins says he and Fitzmier have a lot of passion and that what they’re doing is unique in Wichita.

Still.

Hopkins admits he’s curious, too.

“You and me both.”

The one thing he does know is this won’t be the last video.

“Oh, heck no.”
