While the Kardashian/Jenner clan is still known throughout much of the population as "famous for being famous," don't let anyone tell you that this family isn't fantastic at business dealings: Aside from Kim Kardashian's mobile game (aptly titled "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood") that's raked in over $160 million, Kylie Jenner's internet-breaking line of Lip Kits and cosmetics (she's about to launch #merch on Dec. 10), the personal, subscription-based mobile apps headed up by each sister and the various retail locations and product lines they share, they're a mind-blowing case study in marketing and entrepreneurial success in the digital age.

The latest family member to break a literal world record with her business venture is Khloe Kardashian, whose new line of denim, Good American, reached $1 million dollars in sales on its first day of release. (Yes, you read that correctly.) The body-positive, curve-friendly brand that Kardashian founded with Emma Grede launched on October 18 of this year, and according to a press release, it's already proven to be "the biggest denim launch in apparel history." With sizes ranging from 00 to 24, the label relied on social media marketing to tease customers leading up to its debut, featuring women of all shapes and sizes wearing the product on its Instagram page. Apparently, this marketing plan delivlered results: Of the three styles Good American launched with — Good Legs (skinny fit), Good Cuts (tailored boyfriend) and Good Waist (high-waisted skinny) — the latter has already sold out twice over.

Good American plans to keep this momentum going as we head into the new year, and beginning in January 2017, the Los Angeles-based line will release new product on a bi-weekly basis, expanding from jeans into other denim items like skirts, shorts and jackets. Get ready for another year of Kardashian/Jenner domination, friends. You can shop the line (or what's left in stock of it, at least) on the brand's website and at Nordstrom.
