The Denim and Diamond Tailgate is the signature fundraiser for Our Promise, and Saturday marks the seventh year for the event. Stacey Pierce and Susan Wilson were in studio to tell more about the event.
The event will consist of Football watching, family, good fun, as well as a live and silent auction.
Wilson Auctioneers will conduct the live auction.
The Mission of Our Promise is to provide caring, professional support and education to cancer patients, survivors and caregivers through direct financial assistance, social programs and educational services.
Established by cancer care specialists and supported by generous physicians, companies, families and individuals who understand the special needs of the courageous individuals fighting the disease.
Our Promise is unique in this area for providing direct financial support and spending money raised locally only for local uses.
Our Promise provides financial assistance to cancer patients for transportation, gas cards, treatments, prescriptions, utility bills, and housing payments.
Our Promise has currently raised over $100,000 in sponsorships already from local businesses
The event will be held at The Hot Springs Convention Center on October 14th from 6-10pm.
