On Instagram Hailey Bieber wears a lot of Drewhouse, the sweats-heavy brand founded by a certain Canadian pop star. But off duty? You're likely to spot the model in denim something—jeans, skirts, cutoffs, jackets…. Really, if you need a How to Wear Denim 101, her closet is a good place to start.

Bieber's brand of choice is Levi's. "I've been wearing 501s since I can remember," she tells Glamour. "I'd steal them from my dad." She collects the silhouette, both new and vintage. Her love for it runs so deep Levi's tapped her as the first-ever face of the 501 in April. "Hailey embodies that authentic and optimistic self-expression we felt represented the broad appeal of the 501 jean," Jennifer Sey, the company's chief marketing officer for global brands, said at the time. Now it's literally her job to wear jeans. Not a bad gig.

Bieber's key to styling denim is easy and timeless, she says: "Jeans, tees, and sneakers." Her denim icon? "Cindy Crawford." Favorite way to wear ’em? "I love a good denim-on-denim."
