White Denim Add 2020 Tour Dates, Release First Live Album 'In Person' - jambands.com

White Denim released their first ever live album, In Person, earlier this week, along with adding a batch of 2020 headlining dates in the western half of the U.S. and Canada.

In Person was recorded in August 2019 in the backyard of the band’s Radio Milk studio in Austin, TX, and includes cuts from throughout White Denim’s career, including a previously unreleased tune, “Yu Wanted 2.”

“A few years ago, we bought an old house in east Austin and began making records there,” White Denim’s James Petralli explains. “A year or so later we built a stage in the backyard and began hosting music events. We quickly realized that we had the rare ability to record these low-key backyard shows with exceptional fidelity simply by running long cables from the cutting room inside to the stage in the back. After all of these years performing around the world we feel that we have created a White Denim recording that properly captures the energy of what we do on a stage.”

The newly added tour dates kick off March 28 in Denver, CO, and continue with dates in Arizona, California, Seattle, Vancouver and more before wrapping up at The Fillmore in San Francisco April 18.
