DARIEN — You shop an shop and shop Thursday and not feel guilty because it is all for a good cause.
On Oct. 13, Darien Sport Shop is celebrating the grand reopening of the woman’s section on their second floor with a Denim Day to benefit CancerCare. Ten percent of all woman’s denim sales made throughout the day will be donated to support CancerCare, a leading national organization dedicated to providing free professional support services to those affected by cancer..
The event will include special presentations and treats throughout the day including a DJ, fit clinics for certain denim brands, a Pure Barre fitness demo, chair massages, hair and makeup styling, a juice bar, a coffee bar, raffles and more.
The event will go on at the Darien Sport Shop from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
