Downtown Lamesa will be the place to be this coming Friday and Saturday as the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce hosts Denim and Dust: A Street Fair on the Square each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Vendors will be located inside the empty NTS building along the south side of the courthouse square.
If additional vendors call for space this week, the overflow could be housed in the River of Life Church building.
“We’re still accepting applications for vendors,” Karen Mize, Chamber Office Manager, said on Tuesday.
As of presstime, various vendors will sell jewelry, booties, clothing, LipSense, Scentsy products, handmade totes, vests, scarves, wallets, unstuffed bears to build, recycled metal art, pottery, wood and iron decor, Mexican vanilla, cookbooks, homemade cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, cookies and much more.
Several businesses located around or near the square will host Holiday Open House events, including Farm to Market, Honey Pie Children’s Boutique, McCall’s by Julie, Mirror Mirror, Pugh’s Jewelry, Stock and Petal Florist, Sunsations Hair Salon and Boutique and The Rustic Cross Boutique.
Proceeds from the Denim and Dust event will be used to fund Chamber Christmas activities, including the Christmas light show.
The Chamber of Commerce office is located at 123 Main Avenue and the phone number is 806-872-2181.
